Welcome

Greetings everyone!

Come on out!

Hello everybody! Well last Saturday we were able to pick from our garden. We have petite peas, lettuce, onions, radishes, chives, oregano, marjoram, and thyme in the store straight from the garden. Can’t get any fresher than that!

Ever have Kale Chips? Just rinse the kale, pat dry, toss with some olive oil, salt, and pepper. Put a layer of waxed paper on a cookie sheet and lay kale out. Bake on low temp until crisp. We recommend pairing them with some of our Savory Moments Bean Dip, and finishing it off with a nice chilled bottle of Cauble Creek Sweet Blush Muscadine Grape Wine.

We still have a nice assortment of patio or porch plants. New in the store are Hostas in several varieties – starting at $5.99. Coming Soon … indoor hosta and herb gardens starting at just $15.00.

Don’t forget – our bread is half off every Wednesday, as are our vegetables. And now, we have FREE Iced Tea every Saturday.

Welcome!

Come on out!

Hello everybody! This week at the Bean all our hanging baskets are marked down from $14 to $10. We still have a nice selection to choose from. As the weather warms up more and more local produce will be available. For example, right now is strawberry season so you’ll be able to buy Linebergers Berry Hill Farms Strawberries in our store. We also have fresh greens, lettuce, tomatoes, microgreens, beets and radishes – all local, all sustainable. Although too early for North Carolina, we also have yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, and corn. Our garden is also coming along very nicely – starting to see some baby radishes and peas.

We’ve got a few products we’d like to showcase this week, all of which go together nicely. First, our North Carolina Hoop Cheese – a creamy cheddar – is 25% off this week. Add to that a lip smackin’ spicy cracker from Davidson NC – Cowboy Crackers. Then finish it off with a bottle of Rocky River Vineyards, White Gold – a sweet white Muscadine wine. This combination is a real winner!

Don’t forget – our bread is half off every Wednesday, as are our vegetables. And now, we have FREE Iced Tea every Saturday.

Come On Out!
