Hello Everybody! Fall is in the air as the weather cools down enough to need a sweater or light jacket. What a perfect time to take in a good old fashioned Fall Festival. Pumpkin carving and painting, candy apples, hayrides, wine and cheese tasting – all that along with our normal Saturday offerings – fresh veggies straight from the farm, lots of healthy snacks, fresh chicken and duck eggs, organic coffee beans and so much more!

New to the store we have Tavern Cheese Spread – an old Kentucky beer cheese recipe in original and horseradish blends. Try some on crackers, pretzels or as a veggie dip. All made local at Lake Wylie. Also new to arrive is the goat cheese we talked about last week from Round Mountain Creamery – come in and try a sample!

Dennis Vineyards is our wine of the month and we are tasting out Carlos and Four of a Kind. Dennis Vineyards has been around since 1996. They began bottling 2500 bottles a year and have grown to 275,000 bottles a year. Wine lovers come from all over North Carolina for this wine.

Lake Norman Charter School families: proceeds from our hayride will go to LNCS Athletic Booster Club – come out and show your support.

Hello Everybody! Mark your calendars and come on out for our Fall Festival – Saturday, October 22^nd, 11am to 2pm. We will have pumpkin carving and painting, wine tasting, free candy apples to kids 12 and under, and hayrides. To all Lake Norman Charter School families – proceeds from our hayrides will benefit LNCS Athletic Booster Club. So come show your school support and enjoy our Fall Festival!

Wine tasting this month is Dennis Vineyards of Albemarle, NC and for the Fall Festival we will be tasting their newest – Four of a Kind Wine, and the favored Carlos Wine. Both will be sure to please.

Coming soon to the store – Round Mountain Creamery Goat Cheese. We will offer 5 varieties to choose from: Mild and Creamy, Jazzed Goat, Hannah’s Cran-nut Zest, Provincial Olive, and Goat with a Kick. Round Mountain is North Carolina’s only “Grade A” Goat Dairy and will sure to reflect in the great taste of their cheese. Round Mountain offers a Fresh Frozen soft cheese which is perfect because it makes the cheese last longer and it allows you to grate the cheese for those wonderful recipes. Goat Cheese can also be re-frozen until you’ve used it all. “The fresh taste and texture are completely unaffected by the process and the best part is that it makes adding creamy goat cheese in your recipes a snap! You’ll be amazed.”

Hello Everybody! It’s October and we have lots in store for getting Fall into full swing! Fall veggies are coming from the market – such as turnips, kale, and greens – and we’ve got country ham to cook right along with it.

Our Winery of the Month for October is Dennis Vineyards, located in Albemarle and home to some award winning wines. We’ve been selling Dennis Wine for about a year now and our customers really like it. We will be having free wine tastings on Saturdays so stop by and try some.

On October 22^nd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. join us for a good ole country Fall Festival. There will be pumpkin carving and painting, wine tasting, free candy apples for kids under 12, apple cider, and music. And in conjunction with Lake Norman Charter School we will have hayrides that proceeds will go to LNC Athletic Department. Mark your calendars for October 22^nd!
